EDUCATION: THE PROCESS OF ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS

WE PROUDLY PROVIDE A NATIONALLY ACCREDITED APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING EDUCATION PROGRAM

We offer an unmatched education experience blending the curriculum developed by the NCCER and the core values of Willmar Electric. Our program allows Apprentices to earn while they learn.

Our NCCER Certified  Instructor has the following certifications:
Craft Instructor
Master Trainer
Subject Matter Expert

Curriculum Proctor
Curriculum Performance Evaluator

Education is a cornerstone for working productively and for working safely. All craftworker employees have received OSHA 10-hour training, and all supervisory positions are required to have OSHA 30. All new craftworker employees are required to complete the OSHA 10-hour course before entering a job site. First Aid / CPR is required at many of our job sites, and a certified CPR class is offered to all employees. Along with the scheduled classes and certifications, safety training occurs regularly on the job site as new situations present themselves.

Willmar Electric strongly believes that safety awareness and training before performing tasks are essential in providing a safe, productive working environment.

“Our Apprenticeship program offers the capability to earn high wages and acquire valuable trade skills without debt. There are numerous opportunities for Career Advancement.”

CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR EVERYONE

Our Purpose Statement, “People Making a Difference for People,” can be seen in the broad genre of areas of continuing education. Investing time, energy, and resources in continuing education in an ever-changing world reduces stress, keeps our minds active, and is rewarding watching many discover potential and value they didn’t even know they had.

Numerous options are available to all employees at Willmar Electric that contribute to personal and professional growth. Some of the categories include technology, wellness, professional trade, safety and leadership. Learning new skills, honing existing skills, or expanding their leadership abilities directly impacts our culture. Over the years, we have seen the education that we offer positively influence the people around them: on the job site, at home, and in their communities.
