VA Outpatient Clinic

As the Veteran population changes and the need to develop services to help accommodate the diverse populace, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) recognized the necessity to open more outpatient clinics. These clinics would help establish tele-medicine, Veteran centers, and suicide prevention hotlines, as well as continue to meet the needs of Veterans in the areas of medical, surgical and quality of life. The Department of Veterans Affairs earmarked Lincoln, NE as a viable option to build and open its next Outpatient Clinic.
Willmar Electric partnered with General Contractor BL Harbert to complete the electrical installation for the two story Veterans’ Outpatient Clinic which provides general medical care, along with establishing the more specialized needs in women’s health, psychology/mental health, dentistry, and other services which are needed to help the VHA continue to support its mission to “provide medical care and services to America’s military Veterans.”
We were honored to receive an “Excellence in Construction” Award through the ABC Cornhusker Chapter.
